Our mission is to produce high-quality relaxation video programs
that provide positive entertainment for viewers.  Positive
Communication was founded in 1992. One year later we
marketed our first two videos to nursing homes and hospitals.
Our videos now are sold throughout the United States and
Canada via activity catalogs and sales directly to customers.

The inspiration for topics presented in our videos comes
from visits with nursing-home residents and professionals who
work with those residents. We find that older women and men
are especially eager to talk about such topics as growing up in
rural America, their church activities, hobbies, and pets or other animals. They like to reminisce as well about gardening, walking in parks and woodlands, or working at their former jobs.

We keep up-to-date with scientific research into aging, music
therapy, and communication. We carefully consider our topics,
the effects of color and music, and video techniques to find the
right mix to produce relaxing, quiet entertainment for adults.

Positive Communication also relies on reactions from customers to refine its video productions and to help address the needs of older adults.
